Here are some important dates to add to your calendar:

​

• February 2, 2026: Students will receive their course selection sheets from their 5th grade teacher and watch a short video tutorial on how to select their courses (course info can be found on the Course Info Tab)

​

• February 3, 2026 from 5:00-6:30PM: 5th Grade Electives Fair located in the DMS Large Gym (INFORMATIONAL FLYER)

​

• February 7, 2026 from 8:30-11:00AM: Instrument Selection Day at DMS (INFORMATIONAL FLYER)​

​

• February 9, 2026: Course Selection Sheets Due to 5th Grade Teacher

​​

• March 23 - 30, 2026: Course Verification Round 1

​​

• April 20 - 27, 2026: Course Verification Round 2 (last chance to make any changes to your course requests)

​

​

​Course Verification is when parents are emailed a list of the courses their student has requested and provides parents with a chance to request changes. Our computer system will email the Course Verification to the first email listed on the student's demographic/contact page (the information parents provided during registration). ​​
